Statement issued by Shenstone & District Car Club as follows: In accordance with MSA operational requirements for the infrastructure required to be able to accept entries from electric and hybrid vehicles for any regulated events during 2018, Shenstone & DCC Ltd and the Curborough Sprint Course are unable to allow the operation of these vehicles until instructed accordingly by the MSA.

SHENSTONE AND DISTRICT CAR CLUB LTD DINNER DANCE AND ANNUAL CHALLENGE AWARDS PRESENTATION (Incorporating the Redline Synthetic Oil 2017 Curborough Sprint Championship in association with Lifeline) MOOR HALL HOTEL, SUTTON COLDFIELD on FRIDAY 2nd March 2018 The Shenstone and District Car Club Annual Dinner and Awards Presentation will take place on Friday 2nd March 2018 at the Best Western Premier Moor Hall Hotel and Spa, Moor Hall Drive, Sutton Coldfield B75 6LN. In addition to the Club Annual Challenge Awards being presented to the chosen recipients, the awards for the Redline Synthetic Oil 2017 Curborough Sprint Championship in association with Lifeline will also be presented to all class winners and to the outright champion at this event. The evening will feature entertainment from AC DC Entertainment. There will also be the opportunity to record the moment with custom photographs by Dave Chesterton. The function will begin at 7.30pm for 8pm and guests will be welcome to dance the night away until midnight. Everyone is welcome – so invite your partners, family, friends and associates to help celebrate another successful year.

Curborough Classic Sprint Saturday 8th September 2018. Dust off your flares and tanktops for the Curborough Classic. To celebrate 55 years since the use of Curborough as a Sprint Course, we are planning a "Curborough Revival" meeting the day before our Finale Sprint in September. Using the "old" single lap course coned layout used before the installation of the modern kerbing in the 90's, we want to revive the spirit of the 60's, 70's and 80's with themes, displays and cars from those eras, both on track and off. Dressing up to match the period of your car will be encouraged. Details are being finalised, but it is intended to run the event under IOPD rules to enable a wider range of participants, particularly those who do not normally compete. Curborough Sprint School Dates for 2018 are Tuesday 8th May and Thursday 6th September. These are suitable for beginners and experts alike, and now cover all three circuit configurations. Cost is £145 per person. Application forms now available on the Curborough Website, and they can be purchased as a Gift for Christmas if you wish!!
