Our Optometrists:

Karen Shorrock. Working at Eyesentials since 2002 Karen is our Diabetic eyecare specialist and has a genuine  interest in every aspect of eyecare.

Nick Wallwork. Nick is the fifth generation of his family to become an optician and splits his time between us and his fathers practice in Worsley, He has a keen interest in Contact Lenses and Children’s eyecare, and finds time to lecture at Liverpool University to students studying Orthoptics.

Dana Smith. Dana First qualified as a dispensing optician before going on to qualify as an Optometrist and this we believe gives her an extra understanding in satisfying our patients optical needs.

Our Dispensing Opticians:

Adrian Halsall. Adrian established the practice in 2002 with a commitment to provide the highest standards of eye care. He has extra qualifications in Low vision work and works closely with our Optometrists in the provision of our Macula Clinic and the earlier detection of eye disease with the aid of Retinal Scanning.

Claire Houghton. Claire is in her final year as a trainee dispensing Optician having worked previously within a large multiple chain she now enjoys the opportunity to spend more time to listen to her patients’ needs and discus all their options available to them.

Our Optical Advisors:

Kath Mort. Kath has been serving the optical needs of the people of Leyland for over 20 years and her extensive optical knowledge is an advantage in her role as practice manager.

Jennifer Halsall. Jennifer, daughter of Adrian makes looking after your eyes a family affair, with a keen interest in customer care she brings excellent organisational qualities to our team ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
