It Doesn’t get any simpler than this 250g Greek yogurt & 100g frozen blueberries normally I’d have 30g peanut butter on top but I’m going to a meat festival today 😋🥩

Success, in anything requires these two fundamentals, Turn up and keep pushing! Training, business, life, you might be familiar with the expression of “throw enough sh#t at the wall and it starts to stick” same concept guys. Get up everyday and throw to your hearts content, don’t let anybody put you off or make you question yourself, just keep throwing at that wall. From time to time your going to have to change walls too, because you might need to be better at something else like being a better partner, husband or wife, you may have to be better in training or at work, regardless of what your turning up to just keep turning up and keep pushing forward 👍

Online coaching. Pros vs cons Pros first.... Affordability and flexibility is one, being online allows the client to train where they want and when they want. They don’t need to book in with me on a set day and time, they don’t have to train at the gym I run my business from either. Vary much like 1-2-1 it is designed to be specific to your goals, you also get the same service as a 1-2-1 client, regular check-ins along with frequent contact from me along with a recipe book every 30 days with new and creative ideas for meals, access to the Facebook page where we often discuss training and nutrition. Cons... It requires a lot of accountability and motivation. It can be hard going to the gym completely lone, people also don’t have the correct queuing from the the coach to correct posture and form (this can be done on video but it’s still regarded as feedback not real time queuing from the coach). Despite best efforts to regularly contact clients online it’s hard for clients to relate with someone whom they’ve never met. Conclusion... It’s down to the kind of person you are, do you have a training background but need guidance and structure to reach your goals. Alternatively you could be brand new and slightly intimidated by the gym and need a person there to say “common let’s go do another set” again this might be a motivation thing more than anything. If you want to try online coaching drop me a DM or Email I am quite happy to coach you online for the 1st 14 days for free to see you like it 👍

Do foods have to be boring and non palatable to loose weight???? No absolutely not, the idea of loosing weight for some people triggers certain thought processes, such as no carbs, less fat, more vegetables and salads. Those things are thoughts that come to the minds of some people when the idea of loosing weight is presented to them. Now, is it entirely necessary to think like that?? No it isn’t!! ultimately weight loss and fat loss are achieved through calorie deficit, regardless of the foods you eat providing you are consuming a little less (to create deficit) than required based on your TDEE (total daily calorie expenditure) then weight loss is achievable. Once a deficit is achieved then the weight loss will begin and you can move on to stage two of the hierarchy of weight loss and fat loss.

After a total b*@ch fit on Tuesday, today’s session took me right back to basics. Sometimes it’s easy to forget powerlifting isn’t all about lifting the heavy weights 🏋🏻‍♂️ If it’s not working, strip it down and work on the tekkers 💪🏼 Feeling very grateful for such a supportive and patient coach 🙏🏻 @all_things_barbell #powerteam #deadlift #sumo #conventional #cantdecide #tehcnique #tekkers #motivation #powerlifter #powerlifting #girlswholiftheavyshit #puregym

Checked in with @all_things_barbell today and the boss is happy.....so far 😂 Often people ask me ‘why does a PT need a PT?’ It’s simple, my coach has been doing this job a lot longer then me. By having my own coach, I’m learning new stuff about my body every day, things I can then teach on to my clients. Remember - asking for help is NOT a sign of weakness. 🙏🏻 #powerlifting #powerlifter #personaltrainer #allthingbarbell #girlswholiftheavyshit #puregym #powerteam #accessorywork
