The White and Blacker eBook is available in both English and German 😀

For just over a year we've been working in partnership with Joy of The Knitting Goddess to create this lovely rainbow palette of hand dyed St. Kilda yarn. The fibre supply for this special blend is very limited, as Soay and Boreray sheep are two of the rarest breeds in the UK. So we are only able to process a certain amount each year. These two fibres are hand blended together with Shetland to create a beautifully delicate and textured yarn with plenty of bounce. https://www.blackeryarns.co.uk/yarn/st-kilda-laceweight/st-kilda-mini-skein-set-all-10-shades-3005.html We are just in the middle of spinning up this year's fibre, so we'll have an all new colour palette to show you in a few months time! But in the mean time, we've just added the last few mini skeins of this year's clip to our online shop. Enjoy!

The long wait is over, our 12th birthday yarn Brushwork is now available! https://www.blackeryarns.co.uk/yarn/limited-edition-brushwork 🎉🎁🎈😱🎈🎁🎉 We're really proud of this yarn and all the work we've done over the years to spread the love for #breedspecific British yarn. Both of the sheep breeds in this yarn are rare, but to us that only makes their beautiful fibre more special. Neither sheep are quite as soft as Merino, but we like it that way. 😘 Switching to breed specific yarn can be a long journey, but we hope you'll find it as rewarding as we do both for your wardrobes and the planet.

Our delicious British Classic DK is now back in stock, with the 4-ply to follow on soon. This yarn is woollen spun making it ideal for colourwork and textured stitch patterns. Made from a mixture of sturdy British breeds, it's a tad too robust for next to the skin wear but makes the most glorious everyday sweaters, cardis and socks. Any garments knitted in our Classic will still look glorious years after they were knitted. That's the magic of a more robust yarn! Plus it's a snip at only £4.40 per ball. https://www.blackeryarns.co.uk/yarn/classic-british-yarns
