Family friendly Country Estate with woodland walks, play areas, gardens, visitor centre and tea room. Events and activities throughout the year. Finlaystone Country Estate is an established visitor attraction managed by the family of the Chief of the Clan MacMillan. The estate, with its spectacular views across the Firth of Clyde, is open all year and is situated on the A8 ten minutes west of Glasgow Airport.
Finlaystone offers a great family day out with imaginative play areas, picnic areas & bbq sites, colourful gardens, tumbling waterfalls, events and activities, tea room, shop, visitor centre and the 'Clan MacMillan Centre' of particular interest to decendants of MacMillans, Baxters & Cunninghams.

Calling all fanatics! Finlaystone would love to help showcase the many and varied interests that our visitors, locals and countries have. What is a passion for some may be of great interest to others who might have never seen or even heard of such a hobby. It really could be anything: Runners, reenactors, RC vehicle owners, camera clubs, comic collectors, crocheters, anglers, archers, artists, wood-carvers, slackliners, ecologists, fern-lovers, ferret-lovers - we would love to see if we could help. If you have an interest and would like to share it with others then we will provide a suitable area of the estate for you to showcase it, providing an audience for yourself and a themed day for families. This can apply to individuals as well as groups, societies or clubs of all ages. Just get in touch and we will make suitable arrangements.
