Today's market was a great community event, as these photos record. With 32 stalls of edible or treasurable goodies, all locally made by hand, plus a packed and lively cafe, the Llanfair Singers, all 40 of them, singing carols and raising money for the Air Ambulance, and a craft workshop for the kids, it really was a pleasure to do your Christmas shopping at the market. While Knighton Community Market is now taking a break until January 27th, The Pie Creator and Wyn's game and poultry stalls will be back next Saturday, Dec 23rd, set up in the bar for their regular customers to collect Christmas orders and to cater to last-minute shoppers before the holiday.
