A big thank you to the Tesco #BagsofHelp grant that has made it possible for our children to experience outdoor learning in the Forest School. Some children showed Janette Parker, Tesco Community Champion, the endless opportunities Forest School gives our children.

A very successful start to the Year 6 Okehampton Residential. Despite the damp weather on Tuesday the children enjoyed Archery and Weasling activities. The sun shone on Wednesday and the children spent an enjoyable day at the lake conoeing, kayaking and raft building. The adults have been very impressed with the children's behaviour, manners and team spirit! Photographs of some of the children enjoying themselves will be displayed on the TV in the school foyer at Reception.🙂

The children had an amazing experience when we were visited by the film crew from The Pod at EDF. The children saw first hand how a film crew works and we look forward to viewing the final cut at the Rydon Film Premier! 🎬📽️
Mr Ware would like to invite you to a BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION FASHION SHOW on FRIDAY 14TH JULY AT 7PM. TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE SCHOOL OFFICE - £2.50. This is literally a charity close to Mr Ware's heart. Last September Mr Ware underwent open heart surgery to replace a faulty aortic valve with a mechanical one. Thanks to very important research from money raised by the British Heart Foundation Mr Ware can now lead a full and active life. Mr Ware would like to raise awareness and money for this charity by hosting a fashion show at school with the children modelling clothes from the F+F range at Tesco.
More Art Work... this time created by Year 2. The children have been painting with watercolours. The finished paintings have been produced from a series of sketches they made from fish which were kindly donated by Tesco.
