Enjoy a fine pint of real ale, a glass of vino or one of our home cooked meals. Tourists, locals, regulars, kids, dogs and groups are all very welcome Temporary Note - Due to the severe flooding late in 2016 we are currently closed. Please like this page to kept up to date with our reopening dates and events! :D
The Castle Inn Kendal, is a family owned, local pub. We offer home cooked bar meals during the day, we serve fine real ales (plus lots of other drinks for you to sample) and we have a thriving community of regulars, sports teams and tourists who all seem to keep coming back for more.
Owned By Geoff and Christine, the pub is very close the centre of town, whilst still being out the way enough to never feel hectic or rushed. If you live in Kendal (Cumbria), or are just visiting, you will find a warm welcome, some great food, drinks and friendly chat at The Castle.

As you all know we were supposed to be handing over the Castle Inn on Monday 5th of September. But due to some technical error Puch have asked us to look after the pub for another two weeks until Sunday 17th of September 🍺🍸🍾xx.
