It’s such a beautiful day today! I’ve just sat alfresco and ate my lunch for the first time this year, sunshine definitely brightens up your mood huh?! So does a good blow dry, thanks to Shea Hair Nails Beauty and Spa Ltd this morning for a FABULOUS cut and blow dry! ☺️ Now back to these gorgeous sugar roses and models too!

Just thought I’d share what goes on underneath the decoration on all our cakes! This is ganache, white chocolate ganache to be precise! Ganache is a chocolate/cream mixture, they are both melted together and left to partially set before we cover our cakes with it, yummy! Ganache allows us to get a REALLY smooth, sharp cover which means our decoration is really clean and sharp, which makes for a professional looking cake if you ask us!

From now on we will be offering a more budget friendly traybake alternative to Birthday cakes! This one is a simple lemon sponge with lemon sugar on top and these will be £12 each and come in the following flavour choices: Lemon Old school vanilla with pink icing and sprinkles Vanilla with jam and coconut We will also be doing a ‘fully loaded, drip style’ topping for £15 in the following flavours: Vanilla sweetie Chocolate Salted caramel
