Paediatric basic life support

When teaching paediatric BLS I'm often asked whether the ratio for children is 15:2 or 30:2? (Particularly by healthcare workers) I always teach 30:2, October 2015 Resuscitation council Guidance states: " Those who work in healthcare and are LIKELY to resuscitate children,the ratio is 15 compressions to 2 breaths" For those that care for children but are Unlikely to resuscitate them,the ratio is 30 compressions to 2 breaths."
