Tricky job this time. A 7 foot wall had collapsed and fallen through a shed!! Was able to sort out the wall and the shed got fixed!

I love the variety of jobs I get to do in my work. In a garden this time replacing a hedge with a wall and adding some stone steps.

Couple of gaps up near Bardon Mill. Often find bottles and things in walls but found a bath in this one! I fixed the pipe running through the wall so water was running again for the stock. Spoilt with cake and coffee. Thanks Pete, Elly and Ed!

Not so much fun being a stonewaller when it's torrential rain all morning ☔️Still managed to get this wall end repaired for the farmer. Nice change to be doing traditional gapping for a while

These stones were a tripping hazard before I made them safe by flattening and cementing them down, and I also levelled up all the uneven steps which had been sloping downwards. No new stone was needed as I was able to use all existing stone, and made sure no cement was showing.
