We're recruiting!!! A vacancy has arisen for an **EXPERIENCED COCKTAIL MAKER**. Hours will include EVERY Friday and Saturday night from 5pm-late (and other days during peak days/periods). Applicants must be fully capable of working in a busy bar, have a good knowledge of cocktail making and work well under pressure. To apply please private message us. You don't get much better than this! Did you see our fantastic review which featured in The Gazette last Friday? Over the Christmas period, journalist Naomi Corrigan paid Portals a secret visit and by goodness we're glad she did! A massive thanks to all of our staff, this review really shows just how much of a great team effort everyone puts in. Hard work really does pay off! For those who didn't see it, check it out here.......

It's such a shame what the immaturity and stupidity of some individuals can lead to. Unfortunately, tonight we had a booking for a large group from a local business. Some of the individuals from this group thought it would be funny to put tissue paper in our toilet sinks and turn on the taps. Resulting in a lot of extra, unnecessary work for our staff. If people think this is an acceptable way to behave, please take yourself to somewhere suitable for a lower age to match your maturity level. But don't worry, we will be back OPEN tomorrow as normal serving our lovely customers!
