The Gorebridge Bowling Club was established in 1884 and provides a friendly bowling and social club at the heart of the community.
Why not just pop in and see us whether you are interested in becoming a bowling member (always looking for new talent) or a social member, you would be more than welcome.
Remember Bowling is for all ages and abilities
There are three separate areas within the club where you can really enjoy yourself:

Function Hall

The Club makes full use of the Hall and has a lively social calendar with dances and discos to suit all ages. The ‘Hogmanay Disco’ really brings the year in with a bang and is always a very popular event as is the next day with the 'New Years Family Day'.
The hall is also available for private parties and weddings etc. with comfortable seating for up to 120 patrons and kitchen facilities are on site if required.
It has also recently had a new sound system and lighting installed to go with the new decor.
There is Bingo on a Tuesday and Thursday and a regular set of artists on a Sunday night.
Club night’s (Saturday) are usually once a month when we have a disco or band.

Lounge

The Lounge was recently modernised and refurbished to a very high standard. With low level background music it’s a pleasant and relaxing area to sit and talk with friends

Games Room

The games room was also recently modernised and houses the Dart Board, Pool Table, Jukebox and both Plasma T.V. and large Projector Screen with a full subscription to both Sky and BT sports.

The Club has a successful gents Darts Team and it is hoped that a Pool Team will be started in the near future. A Domino Knockout Competition is held late on a Friday Night and this has proved very popular with everyone mixing and having a laugh.
