JC Dance and Cheer Academy New Dance and Cheer Gym open in Kirkintilloch!
Facilities include full size competition sprung floor and separate fully equipped dance studio.
Joanne Carr School of dance has been an Established Dance School in the local area for 30 years. The Dance school was originally based in Kilsyth with the girls travelling from all over the local areas to take part as far apart as Lenzie, Kirkintilloch and Milton of Campsie to Kilsyth, Cumbernauld and Banknock.
Classes offered in ballet, Tap, Disco/Freestyle, modern, Hip-hop and Majorettes.
*New* Tumbling and Hip-hop classes for Boys
The Dance school offers pupils BATD Dance examinations and all students have the opportunity to participate in an annual Stage Production.
Home of the National Champion Cheerleading Squad JC Pompom’s
Established in 2004, JCP have gone from strength to strength achieving national and European champion titles. The teams compete all over the UK in a variety of divisions in cheer and dance.
JCP Senior Pom dance team have won bids to the Dance Worlds in Orlando Florida in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2011, 15 members of the team along with their supporters travelled to Florida to compete at worlds. After experiencing the high level of dance displayed from teams from all over the world the girls are now more motivated and inspired to continue to develop and grow and are looking forward to compete once again in 2014.
Joanne Carr School of dance and JC Pompoms cheerleaders take part in local Gala days, Parades and Community Events which give them a highly valued position in the community.

Summer Classes begin Tuesday 15th and run for 5 weeks with last class being Saturday 16th August.
Please collect a letter from gym explaining summer programme. Letter also has a form attached for signing up for summer classes!!
Please sign up for classes in your correct age group. Please note divisions are determined by your child’s age on 31st August 2014.
