Who wants to join the team? Our Climate Challenge Fund ‘Growing Together Project’ has a number of new opportunities for the right people to join our freelance team and support the delivery of innovative programmes and activities in 2017/18. We require the following • Swap Shop Support staff (Weekday, evening and weekend) £8.45 per hour (5-10 hours per week for 10 months) • Project Coordinator (Community Cycling) £10 per hour ( 10 hours per week May-Sept) • Horticulture workshop leaders £20 per hour • Horticulture workshop Assistants £12.50 per hour • Allotment Mentor (Horticulture) £12.50 per hour • Project Lead: Community Kitchen Cookery/Jam £20 per hour • Project assistant: Community Kitchen Cookery/Jam £12.50 per hour Hours are variable and will include weekends and evenings. A flexible approach to working is essential. It's almost time for our annual Spring Open Day!! We're looking for individuals or groups that would like to run a workshop or have a stall for our annual event on Saturday 25th March at The Back Garden. We can pay £50 for a 2-hour workshop. Stalls are free and can be used to sell handmade/homemade items or to promote your own groups or activities. We're looking for acoustic musicians for our Spring Open Day at The Back Garden on Saturday 25th March 12-4pm. Soloists or groups welcome! Acts will be paid £30 per person for a 30 minute set, up to a maximum of £150 per band. We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded £144,380, from The Climate Challenge Fund, to continue our ‘Growing Together’ project and do even more fun stuff this year including food growing, cycling, cookery, and swapping at the swap shop. We are sooooo excited, and we just can't hide it :)
