What are you having for dinner on Burns Day? We have Macsween Haggis, Tatties and Neeps in the shop. For porridge fans we have porridge spurtles - a wee gift for someone or treat yourself. If you fancy a Burns meal out there is a lunch at Stow Primary on Thursday and a Burns Supper at Fountainhall on Saturday night. Posters are in the shop door.

The shop and Post Office Counter will be closed on 1st and 2nd January. We are open normal hours this weekend. Happy New Year to everyone from us all. Thank you for your custom and support throughout 2017.

Ideas for presents or just treat yourself.

We haven't had christmas trees outside the shop every day this week because of the wind. We will get them out again today hopefully and for the weekend. Please phone the shop if you want to know more. Deliveries locally too and Stewart has even been known to put trees in stands or saw the bottom off if necessary. Not sure about his decorating skills though!

We are going to collect Christmas trees this morning. Will be on sale from this afternoon. It must be December.
