Some of you may remember that the workshop was expanded last year to add a finishing and assembly room. Well the first stage of it's fit out is now complete with a suite of storage cupboards and drawers. These have been made entirely from birch ply and feature obscured drawers which can be opened in a single action, giving access to either the shallow drawer above or the deep drawer below, all running on soft close mechanisms, as are the doors above. If I am not kept too busy over the next few months I hope to complete the fit out of the room by the end of the summer.

Here's another keyboard case, this time for Will Gregory of Goldfrap. Basically this is a controller for a piece of vintage valve gear that has been converted into a unique custom synthesiser.

Here is a recently finished project, one vintage synth that had at some point in it's past been butchered by having the keyboard section separated from the case and mounted inside a very crude box. It's new owner Richard James of Aphex Twin wished for something more fitting for his studio so this teak cabinet was the solution. Here you can see it sitting atop of what remains of the original case which is still housing the synth hardware.
