Since it's been such a great summer for flying... 🤔🙈 you may have already finished your winter projects! How about building an iconic funfly machine? The JP Panic kit, designed by Avicraft, is a Funfly biplane, capable of wild aerobatics but also suitable as a first aerobat for the intermediate pilot. The new, revised kit from J.Perkins is bang up-to-date with laser-cut parts, pre-formed u/c, an interlocking wing construction and full instructions. It builds quickly and accurately and suits a .52 four-stroke, .60-.91 two-stroke or electric power and requires 4 or 5 standard size servos. In stock now, priced at £98.99! https://www.servoshop.co.uk/index.php?pid=JPDAA1000&area=Aircraft

Rare Unpublished Boddington Model Could be Yours! We have a rather special auction on eBay – https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/183921897027 It’s an auction that will benefit a Cancer Charity Via eBay’s system of donation. The model is the David Boddington Built, Designed and Flown Water Baby. The name was possibly a ‘working title’ as the model was never published. The owner would be free to publish the design as any rights to it are sold with this sale and no plans are available – So backward engineering would have to be the way to go! The model suffered directional problems that were intended to be cured by fitting a 2/3rd high normal fin. The under fin did not stabilize the model as it should. It was undecided if the upside fin would have a rudder. It’s possible it would work with one, but also one would be unnecessary. The model originally had a 26 surpass, it is fitted with some servos, but they require checking or replacing before flying. Considering the price the small 3 channel Fiesta MPA Trainer Model Sold for (£145) This model represents further value at £195.00 on eBay. Its quite possible its worth far more. But we’ve tried to keep it sensible. Boddo would have liked some money going to charity but would not like to see this sell for a completely crazy price because of who’s it. Good luck if you decide to go for it. We can probably supply the extra parts required at a reasonable cost – Thanks! Please feel free to like and share this post, share the item as there’s going to be more similar model auctions after this one has sold. 50% Benefits Cancer Research.

Well you don't see one of these every day! One of our customers recently brought this in to the store, having bought it from us new back in 1992! It's a Kyosho F1 GP-10 chassis, with the WIlliams body and wing set. Super-rare, but a beautiful bit of engineering with inboard shocks and roll bars, IC engine, and built in cooling fan! From the days when F-1 was cool! 😂😎

Testing done! Robin had the chance to give the servos a proper run out at the recent BRCA Mid-West Oswestry 2WD regional on Sunday, and suffice to say they didn't disappoint! We started off the day with a test of a Brushless, Low-Profile alloy case servo, which proved ultra fast, accurate and smooth (and very quiet!). Round 4 saw a change to the plastic/alloy cased coreless servo, which was also run in the final. This was also smooth and accurate, with little noticeable difference in speed. Throughout a tricky day on a technical track with changeable weather conditions, both servos performed flawlessly (unlike the driver... 🙈😂), and despite some pretty rigorous strength testing they held up perfectly with no induced slop in the gear train. There is more testing to be done, but initial impressions on these are very good, so stay tuned for further developments! #ServoShop #BRCAMidwest #DriveLikeYouveStolenIt
