Ideal midpoint for Caledonian Canal Left on Jul 19, 2017 for a stay in Jul 2017 This is a very attractive apartment with distinctive features provided by the talented host who obviously lives wood! It has all the facilities needed for an easily managed holiday -great shower ,dishwasher,comfortable bed ,easily controlled heating,well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating and entertainment systems.The flat is within 10 minutes walking distance of the village with great eating places and a garage supermarket.Ideal starting point for walking or cycling the Caledonian Canal.Hosts Chris and Felicity are charming and welcoming and always available for help and advice if required. Great venue- recommended.

Another Wonderful Stay Left on Jul 10, 2017 for a stay in Jun 2017 Our fourth visit to the Old Convent, we have stayed in all the apartments and they are all beautiful well equipped homes. Chris and felicity are always welcoming and we can't wait to see the Convent finished. We have had a great week with them and can't recommend it highly enough.

fabulous accomodation. lovely place and surrounding areas Left on Jul 8, 2017 for a stay in Jul 2017 recently stayed at no 1 the old convent in fort augustus. felicity was very helpful when we arrived telling us places to visit. the apartment was immaculate and everything you needed at hand. very quiet location. great for exploring the surrounding areas. i think we were lucky with the weather as had quite a few lovely days of sunshine. for a rented apartment i would say felicity has gone overboard in choosing the best of everything and my only hope is that someone at some point doesnt come along and wreck her lovely tasteful things. she has put a lot of thought into the decor, curtains, kitchen utensils all seemed brand new. bed was very comfortable. shower was wonderful, they are still working on renovation and i am sure they will make an excellent job of it as so far it is very impressive.
