At the moment I am completely enthralled with the Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon and even though the books are fictitious they are based on actual events that took place in Scotlands past. There are some great places to visit on the newly launched Jacobite Trail including Culloden, Fort George and Brodie Castle, all great visitor attractions that are close by! http://www.jacobitetrail.co.uk/holding/

Our cocktail for this evening, local El-Gin base with Aperol, St Germain( Elderflower Liqueur), topped up with Ginger Beer, glasses rimmed with Brown Sugar and Ginger, would love some name suggestions as it has gone through quite a bit of quality testing, hic!
