We're very pleased to be able to announce that following auditions held in the Ogstoun Theatre back in February, three of our Year 13 students have been offered places with the National Youth Theatre... Over 5000 young people aged 14-25 audition for the coveted places on the NYT summer courses each year, so it's a huge well done to Flora, Imogen and Zoe who will be spending almost a month of the summer working with industry professionals down in London. Upon completing the course they will become members of the National Youth Theatre. Alumni of the NYT include Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Colin Firth, Daniel Day-Lewis, Orlando Bloom, Catherine Tate, Ben Kingsley, Ashley Jensen, Derek Jacobi, Timothy Dalton, David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Hugh Bonneville, Matt Smith, Zawe Ashton, Chiwetel Ejiofor and many more. the NYT audition team will be returning to Gordonstoun next year to audition again, so make sure you take the opportunity and it might be you next time!
