We're serving fresh oysters on ice this evening from 5:30pm. The Drouthy oyster platter consists of: Jersey Rock oysters harvested from Royal Bay of Grouville on the east coast of Jersey; native oysters from Loch Ryan, a sea loch by Stranraer; and fantastic, silky, saline oysters from West Mersea - some of the finest oysters in the British Isles. Simply served over ice with lemon, Tabasco, and a shallot vinaigrette. We recommend pairing with Reyka Vodka or Pol Roger NV.

We're incredibly excited to welcome the Andy Lawrenson Trio for from lazy Sunday gypsy-jazz this weekend! This sound is infectious, perfectly matched with a mid-afternoon cocktail and a few pals. The Gypsy Jazz Experience is an infectious blend of Gypsy and Cafe music, originally pioneered by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli in 1930’s Paris, and light classical pieces with a smattering of Eastern European Folk music and song. Brand new stand up show from multi award winning Patrick Monahan and inspired by his Irish/Iranian/Teeside teens in the 90's. Identity cards, ‘Cool Britannia’, Drink and drugs and rock ‘n’ roll’ were some of the trademarks of the 1990's but for the Teetotal and drug free Monahan it was ‘cake and tea and R ‘n’ B!’ Monahan explores what life was like for teenagers in the 90’s growing up with their basic technology and compares the current problems teenagers face, such as faulty phone charger leads, dabbing and whether they should Instagram their dinner or just eat it! The 90’s teenagers didn't have to make many choices as there wasn't much to choose from! ‘He really hits the mark…great depth’ BroadwayBaby ✭✭✭✭ ‘Thought provoking, hilarious. A Fringe Legend!’ Mirror✭✭✭✭ ‘His tales of being an immigrant to Britain are thought-provoking yet hilarious, he loves his audience and they love him back. Patrick is a Fringe legend and it's easy to see why.’ - DAILY MIRROR ✭✭✭✭ ‘He really hits the mark…it’s a show totally struck by changing fears and prejudices. Mixing his youth with UK politics, world politics and the notion of nationality gives a great depth to his set without ever being moralizing.’ - www.broadwaybaby.com ✭✭✭✭ ‘Monahan possesses the rare ability to be hilarious without being outrageous’. - ✭✭✭✭✭ THREE WEEKS ‘There isn’t a comic quite like him and his hugs alone are worth the price of admission’. - ✭✭✭✭✭ www.thenewcurrent.co.uk ‘A definite must see’ - EDINBURGH FESTIVALS MAGAZINE ★★★★
