£56.45 collected during Feb and March in the tea/coffee kitty in the cricket school to be donated to Jacob's Fight fund. Thanks all who contributed.

Cricket shool is open for business as usual today, parking may be restricted

As a result of yet another fall of snow, the cricket school will be closed today . Sorry for the inconvenience.

Excellent session with Ebbw Vale Cricket Club with Ali Waldron putting the players through their paces. Nice to see inventive and constructive practice drills.

Nick Pepper handing over a cheque for £200 to the Jacobs Fight fund to Amy Carey of Careys Fish Bar, Glyncoed who are supporting the charity. This donation is one of several given to local charities and good causes from the proceeds of the Firework Display held at Eugene Cross Park each year by the joint Fire Station/Ebbw Vale Cricket Club committee. Other good causes to benefit were St Johns Ambulance, The Firefighters Charity, Blaenau Gwent Otters Swim Club, Knit and natter, RTB Junior Football Club, Ebbw Vale Cricme Prevention Panel, Special Movers, Ebbw Vale Junior Cricket section.

The cricket school will reopen tomorrow albeit with limited parking due to the amount of snow in and around the building. Driveway should be clear by the morning and customers advised to park up at the rear of the bowling green and walk down pathway that has be dug out to the school. Thanks.
