Congratulations to Camperdown parkrunner (and second fastest time ever) Robbie Simpson, who just finished the London marathon in 2:15:04, a time that might just qualify him for the world championships, and commonwealth games. Not bad for a hill runner.

228 runners this morning - it was great to see you all! Just to recap a couple of things, some general, and some specific to Camperdown. - If you go through the finish funnel, please take a finish token - once you've been through the funnel, you have a time (whether you want it or not!), and we need to match this time to a finish token - if you don't want a time, please don't go through the funnel! - we're getting bigger numbers (which is fantastic), so the carpark by the start fills up very quickly. Please allow an extra 10 minutes to allow for parking at the Wildlife Centre and walking back to the start - we have lots of left-behind kit, missing its owners - it's all been washed, but needs to come home to you - we'll have this kit at the start/finish for the next 4 weeks, and after that, anything remaining will go to charity There are slots available for volunteering next week and beyond - please drop us a line at camperdownoffice@parkrun.com, or send a message via the Facebook page Thanks for your continued participation and support!
