Meet Khnum the God of the Nile. Khnum was known as the creator. Since the Nile flooded every year the ground brought forth slit, clay and new life to the area. It was believed he crafted children's bodies on his potter's wheel.

Four jewelled gold falcon-headed articulated collars were found among the wrappings of Tutankhamun's mummy. They had been folded and placed low down near his legs. Recreations of these can be seen in the Tutankhamun Exhibition.
