Happy 2nd Birthday to me in The Sewing Room. Wow where has that year gone? A massive thank you to everyone who have come to get their sewing done here. Your support means a lot. Had such a busy year last year with lots of new challenges...and this year..so far has been busy, busy too. Into the wedding season now with a couple of brides in at the moment and bridesmaids getting their dresses altered plus a few wedding guests needing alterations done too for that special day. A special thank you and congratulations to Amy and Graeme for their surprise wedding on Friday. It was fun being part of your special day. Dinna give me anymore secrets to keep😂😂. Lol. Here's to the next 12 months🥂🍾

Fitted these 3 lovely Roman blinds yesterday. Loved making them and really chuffed with how they looked in the customers house. Pity my finger got in the way..nae that great a photographer😆

Fallen behind with what's happening in The Sewing Room. Just loved doing these 5 pelmets and table runner. These were done and put up just before New Year. Thank you to the customer for letting me loose in her hoose😁I'm really pleased at how the pelmets and table runner turned out. Really finished off her kitchen/dinning area. The wedding season has started with brides and bridesmaids dresses to alter and alterations are in for outfits for the weddings I'm working on.

Went to a murder mystery evening at Fyvie Castle last night.. the dress code was something tartan. Of course I had nothing in the wardrobe suitable so had a busy week catching up with customers sewing and the evenings were spent making a tartan dress and bag for myself. It's a fully lined dress with piping to add a bit of interest. Had a super evening at the castle. It was certainly a different way to spend a Saturday evening.

Feeling a lot better now after the flu. Thank you for all the Get Well wishes.

Due to illness The Sewing Room will be closed for the rest of the week. Hope to be back sewing on Monday.

I would like to thank all customers for their continued support and custom this year...it has certainly been busy and challenging at times. Had such a variety of sewing this year and tried new things in The Sewing Room...a few of you have been my guinea pigs this year. Thankfully everything has turned out fine. Phew!! I'm closed now to catch up and enjoy the festivities. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
