The second of our autumn shows is on Saturday 24th November and is a tribute to the one of the World's Greatest Rock Bands. Hats Off to LED ZEPPELIN Its 50 years since the members of the world’s greatest rock band first got together in a small room in London’s Gerrard Street. Their first album was recorded in 9 days and released in January the following year. To mark this event, the international sensation Hats Off to Led Zeppelin are embarking on their biggest tour yet! The Official UK No.1 tribute to the gods of Rock and Roll for three years running at the National Tribute Awards and in 2017 voted BEST tribute band in the UK, Hats Off to Led Zeppelin are proud to be the only tribute act in the UK officially endorsed by Marshall amplifiers and they are managed by none other than Warren Grant … for the uninitiated, his father Peter was Led Zeppelin’s manager! “Hats Off to Led Zeppelin are the closest you are going to get” Warren said after first seeing the band! If you want silly wigs, naff impersonations and the wrong line up then there are plenty of other ‘tributes’ out there … if you want to experience the power and the passion of a Led Zeppelin concert, played by one of the most the most exciting Rock’n’Roll bands on the circuit today then pick up the phone and book your ticket to see this show now! Why compromise? Having played with Queen, Ray Davies, Edwin Starr, Iron Maiden, Gerry & the Pacemakers, PJ Proby, Shaun Ryder & the Seahorses as well as appearing in a plethora of London Shows including We Will Rock You, Tommy, Thriller LIVE!, Wicked, Dancing in the Streets, Return to the Forbidden Planet and Buddy to name but a few, these guys are a truly professional outfit guaranteed to give you a night that you won't forget in a hurry! With glowing endorsements from Led Zeppelin's tour manager Richard Cole - "Worth seeing ... entertainment with style"; Led Zep biographer Dave Lewis - "a refreshing no nonsense approach ... this band delivers every time!"; and the BBC - "an outstanding concert", along with audience and critical acclaim this is a show not to be missed! We are excited to be able to tell you all about our next two shows at The Raven. 2018 is 50 years since the formation of two of the UK's most iconic bands. Saturday 13th October CLIMAX BLUES BAND plus support The Big Wolf Band 2018 is a milestone year for Climax Blues Band it is 50 years since the band were formed.Founded 1968 by Colin Cooper, Climax Blues Band has always focused on its roots, a unique combination of jazz and blues. After 50 years, 18 albums, the classic world-wide hit "Couldn't Get It Right" and tours of the UK, Europe and the US, Climax Blues Band have had huge selling albums like as 'FM/Live' and 'Gold Plated' and infectious and memorable hits such as their singles 'Couldn’t Get It Right' (1976) and 'I Love You' (1981), with a reputation and acclaimed catalogue that continued through until the tragic death of founder member Colin Cooper in 2008. Cooper’s death could have meant the end of the band, but his desire was for the band to continue creating the fine blues blend they had been associated with since their formation – for the last decade Colin Cooper’s desire has been accepted with relish by the remaining members of the band. Climax Blues Band are now touring with a new album of original material 50 years since the first Climax Blues album and still playing the blues in a creative way that has always been synonymous with their name. BIG WOLF BAND Big Wolf is a rock blues powerhouse, with a distinctive guitar style and an array of well selfpenned tracks, backed by the talents of Mick Jeynes(bass), Tim Jones(drums) and Paul Brambani(keys) the band delivers every time. Energy filled sets, Spontaneous improvised breaks, dynamic highs and lows, bringing a song down to a whisper before exploding with energy and power that capture the true meaning of live music! Advance tickets priced at £15 for this show will be available online via our website from Tuesday 1st MAY. www.CornMarketBlues.co.uk

Great review and images of Sari Beth Schorr Rocking HRH Sheffield a few weeks ago. Thanks to Dave Martin for the review and LadyGigger for the excellent pictures. Don't miss Sari on her UK tour when it stops in Corby on Saturday 5th MAY. Tickets on sale now. www.CornMarketBlues.co.uk Having checked out the next act on YouTube, I was very excited to see Sari Schorr If you love the blues and love guitar and want to hear a voice that will completely blow your mind then go see this lady, she has an immense vocal power and sings like her life depends on it. Never have I witnessed such emotion while singing songs than with this girl: she twists and gyrates around the stage and you could have heard a pin drop as everyone in the crowd was just stunned by this performance. Her unique twist to the classic Black Betty has to be seen not just heard: it was remarkable and she received rapturous applause after she had finished singing it. I cannot wait to see her again on stage – please please go out and see this amazing artist you will be mesmerized.
