If you suffer from hay fever and local honey helps, then now is the time to start taking a spoonful a day. 🍯🌼 There isn’t any scientific evidence to say honey helps but many people swear by it. Bees 🐝 do not normally forage on grass 🌾 (although I have photos of my girls gathering grass pollen during the June gap when the spring flowers are finished and the summer ones haven’t started), which is the main cause of most people’s hay fever. However that said, I know many people who find honey helps significantly! Get started with that spoonful now and remember it needs to be local - within 25 miles of your home! Winter in the apiary. Very uncommon to have snow at the start of March. I remember several years ago putting supers on at the end of March because the weather was 20C. 🐝
