Looking out the workshop window this morning, I can see snow on the hills again...

Would love to make something from this... I can just imagine a window seat, maybe piped in a plain fabric in one of the colours........ Any takers?

This was our latest project, completed, delivered, and hopefully used, yesterday. I love it when you can see before and after photos. It’s amazing how new covers can transform a chair or a sofa, and is always worth considering, I often hear “my old sofa is so comfy” Does anyone else have anything sitting in a garage that could be recovered and loved again........?

Got a lot going on in the workshop this week, there’s not a lot of floor space at the moment.....

Our client has totally renovated their barn and their final job was to choose their soft furnishings. They chose a wool fabric for the Roman blinds and bench seat and cushions in the living area, and added a large interlined curtain across the area’s entrance from the front door. This can be drawn across creating a cosy warm space on those chilly nights (and days) we have been experiencing in the last couple of weeks!

After loving the loose cover on a bedroom chair in this Stag fabric, our client decided that they would also like a couple of cushions for the bed. We continued the frill theme down the sides of the cushion.. I reckon that ‘stags’ and ‘frills’ are not two words that are often used together!

The chair ‘before’ and ‘after’ The challenge on this was to shape the backrest section so as to not lose part of a stag, and keep the motifs central. Our client was thrilled with the result. What do you think?

Another style of Valentine’s Day cushion.......
