The New Atelier makes and sells handcrafted contemporary homeware. Harriet makes patchwork quilts using new and old fabrics that are generally bright and bold for children and babies, as well as other apparel like cushions, ipad cases and oven gloves. Martyn whittles and hand carves kitchen utensils from wood salvaged from a Cumbrian tree surgeon.

oh dear, I've been very bad at keeping this up-to-date... I finished my maternity leave for baby Lucas in June and then had baby Seth in August. I'll be on maternity leave until May so expect a few more posts then!
