Town’s local family deli is now a family Bistro. With its new hours serving you from 12noon to 9pm Tuesdays to Saturday and Sunday 12noon to 3pm. Gusto offers lunch, dinner and Sunday roast. Kids can choose from the menu and served in smaller portions or choose from “Izzy’s” menu selection of fresh breaded chicken filets, Special mac n’ cheese or tomato and basil on tagliatelle.

Being a chef for over 26 years, coming from the Dorchester park lane, Hyde Park hotel Knightsbridge, Grosvenor house, Excelsior palace in Rapallo, Italy and 5 years on 7-star cruise ships namely Silversea and Seabourn, Allan believes in only serving fresh, high quality and affordable meals.

Gusto bistro’s new dishes include Baked goats cheese in filo pastry, mushroom risotto, Moules marinière
crispy confit duck leg, crab and white wine linguine and 8oz. beef burger on brioche bun. Sunday roast starts at £12.95 per head with a choice of butterfly chicken, rump of lamb and sirloin or 4 rib of beef. Since Allan’s focus is serving the best dishes in the area, we do not serve alcohol beverages but we do encourage you to bring your own.

If you just want to pop in for your favorite sandwiches, popular lasagna, bespoke coffee, specialty teas and handmade cakes, Gusto will still have these served throughout the day.  Gusto’s Fresh gluten free range will be growing and Allan will still be offering outside catering and private bookings.

As always, if you don’t find what you want on the menu, Allan will gladly cook it for you since nothing is bought in, and everything is cooked fresh daily. Gusto caters to you and welcome suggestions for the menu.

Being a family Bistro, we encourage learning through play which is why we have Magformers for kids to play with and let adults enjoy their meal in peace, but don’t say we didn’t warn you if adults start playing as well!
