Next Saturday there is a Deanery day in Walton for church members wanting to network, discuss and learn alongside members of other churches in the Deanery. There will be Worship, workshops, exhibition stands and more! You can sign up at church or message for details.
Today we marked the closure of our Mother’s Union branch, after 104 years, with a communion service including thanksgiving and reflection. It was good to pay tribute to all those who have been impacted by the work of the MU here over the years. We also welcomed the diocesan president of the MU Mrs Wendy Fitch who gave the address and cut the cake with our longest standing member Iris.
