The Year 7 and 8 Sports Hall Athletics Teams travelled to Medway Park in Gillingham to represent the district having won the local round quite convincingly. Walking into the sports hall and being surrounded by literally hundreds of athletes can be really quite daunting but the girls rose to the challenge and performed to an extremely high standard across the board and both teams were placed third in the county! This is a fantastic achievement and we are so very proud of them all. A huge thank you to Mrs Aitken for taking the teams whilst I was in Malta accompanying the senior netball teams on tour. It is a hard life!!! - Miss Creaney

We are thrilled to announce that Rosie Duffield is coming into school on Friday 2nd March to deliver a talk to any students interested in her career to date, life as an MP and her historic victory. Any student interested is invited to attend the talk which will take place in the hall at 1.30pm and will last approximately 15 minutes. The main talk will be followed immediately by a session aimed specifically at any Year 11, 12 and 13 students planning to study or currently studying politics. These students should inform Mrs Semlyen or their politics teacher of their wish to attend this second session which will be largely a Q&A so students should bring questions.
