Oak Farm is only 4 miles from Bury St Edmunds between Great Barton and Pakenham.  Our free-range hens are cared for above the standards set by the RSPCA's Freedon Food and Lion Code Assurance Schemes -the highest welfare standards required by law.  They enjoy the benefits of the free-draining sandy soil, which allows them to do what they do naturally - scratch, bathe and roam over lush gree pasture.

The hens are fed a specific quality blended ration, soucred from a Suffolk Mill.  This is one of the important factors to ensure our hens receive the nutrition they need to stay healthy and produce good quality eggs.

Since 2009 when Oak Farm was established it's become a haven for wildlife.  Birds such as skylarks, the English partridge, oystercatchers and fieldfares enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the farm.  We're continually working hard to improve their habitat by introducing nest boxes, wild flowers and caring for the native woodland that was planted in 2010.
