Earlier this week we reported an 80lb catfish that put up a terrific fight for Dan Neillings but we've heard a report that his fishing buddy Ricky Hodges has got in on the action and banked a bigger specimen at 84lb!! Ricky commented "Couldn't believe it's an 80 again thanks Wintons lovely place, lovely people" 😊😊😊😊😚

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL MEMBERS PLEASE KEEP OUR FISH SAFE Unfortunately KHV has been reported in Surrey our neighbouring County and consequently Wintons Fishery is stepping up the dipping of nets and bank side handling of our valued stock of carp! It is already a rule that ALL members should dip their nets on arrival to the fishery before leaving the car park! This should also include unhooking mats and any other equipment that comes in contact with our fish! We insist your net should be dried thoroughly before and certainly if you have fished at other venues in between sessions at Wintons. Stuart our Head Bailiff is on site to advise and discuss this matter in more detail. Please speak to us before leaving the car park to set up your tackle if you have any questions or queries to this post! Thanking you in advance Wintons Fishery Management

Andy Little's Angling Adventures - Volume 2

Wintons Fishery was delighted to find a copy of Andy Little Angling Adventures on eBay - unfortunately it was only available on VHS format so we have managed to upload the Sky Sports 1 show onto You Tube and provide a link for you to watch. The programme was filmed in 1992 some 24 years ago and along with Andy Little the programme was co presented by Colin Etherington. Colin commented "Andy and I fished peg 1 & 2 and we managed to bank a brace of cats each the size of the fish were considerably smaller then and you probably won't recognise it as being the same lake"! It is quite amazing how the lakes have matured to what they are now! We hope you enjoy the programme! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGd1qn_4W9Q
