Description
My background is in both furniture and building restoration in the English lake district. If you want something set apart from the mass produced norm I can design and craft items in timber to suit any home, old or new. Basically I love wood.
It's not perfect, it has a life of its own at times, it's certainly not bulletproof and it likes attention but nothing enhances a home like real solid timber. Moreover, it can be restored and refinished again and again, each time adding a little more to its story and patina, it's beauty always inherent.
My kitchens and furniture set themselves aside from mass produced mdf and chipboard items as they are all unique, every part having been hand finished using both traditional methods and contemporary finishes where appropriate.
My work is designed to last and age along with its environment and of course its owners, and maybe even outlast them!
