Not much of a day so took a wee pic of these girls.
Sometimes i wonder why we do what we do. At times juggling young kids, secretarial work, sheep, cattle - & Andy working flat out too seems madness but having her out with her calfy just put the biggest grin on my face and definitely makes the difficulties all worthwhile.
We have a new calf tonight. Ended up a caeserean but very happy to have a lovely big bull calf out of her. Relieved that's calving over with for another year!

Happy (and relieved!) to announce our Limx heifer has calved - a wee heifer calf. Textbook calving - completely unassisted 🐮🐮
