Good evening everyone just a wee heads up on what's happening here at the Stables. We are planning to organise a family fun day on September 30th in the car park (weather permitting) the main purpose of the day to raise money for Cancer Research. All going well we will have a couple of bands playing live , Jordons BBQ, and plenty entertainment to keep the kids busy so watch this space for an update 👍 at night in the lounge we have the brilliant Mandate playing so will be a great night. On another note (I know it's early😂) we are open this year for Christmas dinners after a years break , mainly because we all like working on Christmas day😂😂

Good afternoon all. Just a heads up on our kitchen this week we will be open Wednesday and Thursday during lunchtimes with a slightly limited menu but not open in the evening. Normal service will be resumed Friday onwards and with our new chef in place to assist Jordon, we will be back to normal hours thereafter 👍 Apologies for any inconvenience caused Wednesday/Thursday evening.

Good morning folks. Just a wee update on dates with our kitchen maintenance programme. We will not be open for food tomorrow Monday 31st July. In addition we have a private function next Saturday the 5th of August so our kitchen will not be open that day. The bar will be open as normal and the lounge open in the evening but apologies no food will be available. Apologies for any inconvenience caused folks.

Good morning everyone and I hope the weekends entertainment hasn't caused too many sore heads!! Where do I start !!! On behalf of The Stables my first thanks go out to you guys the customers 👍👍without your continued support year in year out we couldn't have our Car park fun so to all that supported us and attended the weekend thank you all so very much. Secondly our staff, some of them doing shifts way beyond what was expected of them. Thanks to those who ensured every customer was served and looked after as quickly as possible 👍 you know who you are guys so from Joyce and I our sincere thanks again. Next the bands, I think this year the standard of music was second to none and again the weekend wouldn't be what it is without good music - thanks to all. Our helpers- who can forget them, yes that's you guys in the car park who jumped in and helped without asking, hay bales being loaded and unloaded out of the van, rubbish being collected, tidying up at the end on Sunday thanks to each and every one of you. A special mention from Joyce and I has to go to Charlie Cameron who stepped in a few months back to help me with the organising of this event and ably assisted by his wife karen did a great job, we couldn't have done it without you two- massive thanks to you both 👍 Derek Carnegie for his trailer, Jim and Norlanda Mather from Maison Dieu farm for the bales again, phil jamieson for the use of his staff and van thanks to you all. Lastly a personal thank you from me to Joyce and Jordon who between them have worked so many hours behind the scenes to ensure we had this great weekend. The months leading up to the Harley has had its ups and downs but despite this they both worked tirelessly to get this on . Well that's it for another year guys and sorry if I missed anyone out that helped. See you all again next year 🍹🎉🍻🍷🌞
