Description

Our purpose is to help individuals who have overcome drug or alcohol dependency to rebuild their lives, whilst contributing to the local community. Welcome is a small local charity, which supports people in Birmingham and Solihull with substance misuse issues towards recovery. Its trading arm, Welcome Change CIC, offers services to help people in recovery to rebuild their lives in the community and also runs a community centre and cafe, two charity shops and a range of community and youth services.

Our Lea Village charity shop has a chic and vintage look and is a place to go for good quality furniture at affordable prices. We also have a charity shop in Shard End, opposite the library, which has a clean and contemporary look. Both shops offer a great range of products including:

Our Community Centre offers a wide range of leisure activities and is also available for private hire for parties. We also have a vintage cart and bouncy castle for you to hire out for any occasion.

Our Café offers healthy, locally-sourced, food which is freshly prepared. It’s a place to relax and meet friends – and has a safe soft play area for young children.
