Our Get Balsall Heath Reading campaign which is run between St. Paul’s Trust and our partner Smartlyte has received national recognition in this month’s Nursery World magazine. The article highlights the fantastic work being delivered by Smartlyte to improve literacy and numeracy, increase confidence amongst women and longer term to enable women to access training and employment. St Paul’s is hosting their annual International Womens Day event at Balsall Heath Church Centre, Mary Street on Thursday 8th March. The event is open to women from the local community and they are invited to come along and join us in celebrating 100 years since women got the right to vote and take part in activities celebrating womens’ achievements. There will be a lunch provided and a crèche available for those that need it. To book a crèche place call 0121 464 6349 and ask for Sam or Nazma.
