The company was founded in 1926 and has been under its current ownership since 1985. We pride ourselves on being a family run business with a professional approach, where the key decision makers are always available making us an efficient and easy company to deal with.
Hollinshead Coaches specialise in all private hire, school transport, home to school transport, corporate events, sports teams, theatre groups, U3As, Probus groups and wedding services. We also offer our own holiday program and day excursions.
We are fortunate to have an experienced staff who provide an excellent service and are always willing to do that little bit extra to help and improve our customers’ experience whenever possible.
Hollinshead Coaches provide the complete transport package for any type of journey; from a local private hire for the girl guides to a complete weekend package for one of our corporate customers. We have the coaches and drivers for any transport needs!

facebook.comI am pleased / relieved (delete as applicable ) that the pupils and staff of James Bateman, who braved the blizzard at 0730 this morning are safely in York and the coach has arrived back in Biddulph.
I have just been up to Heaton House Farm and the coaches ( providing we have no more snow) will be able to run as normal at the advertised times. The barn looks amazing and I am sure that a bit of snow won't stop it being a great night and raising thousands for charity.
For all those parents collecting their children from our depot this afternoon please come on to the yard slowly. It is fine but slippy in places. If the Kingsfield parents arrrive 1330 ish we can get their children cleared and off site before the Knypersley parents arrive at 1400. Thanks.
Due to school closures there will be no buses for Biddulph Schools, Eaton Bank, Churnet View , Leek High or Marton.
We have had more eventful afternoon i am sure, though none spring to mind immediately. We answered the first ' can the buses run early call ' at 12 pm and we got the last children home by 1730. Thanks for all the patience shown. We go again tomorrow.
We were pleased to support the Biddulph Running Club 5 mile race at Knypersley Pool this morning, by providing a free shuttle bus service. As ever, it was brilliantly organised and hopefully raised lots of money for charity. Events like this always make me proud of our community and the people in it.
The free shuttle bus between Sainsbury's and the Knype Pool 5 mile race is in full flow. Next one due to leave about 1015.
The Mothers Day meal to Llandudno that was full now isn't. We have put a second coach on. Secondly, the holiday to Penzance including a tour of the amazing Scilly isles on April 22 - 26th April also has vacancies. The Scilly Isles are well worth a visit.
