Berkhamsted Elite Tennis Academy (BETA) is a tennis Academy in Berkhamsted, North of London in the UK. BETA was founded by Tyrell Diaz Stevens. Berkhamsted Elite Tennis Academy (BETA) was established to give disciplined young tennis players the opportunity to take their tennis abilities to the next level. We believe in giving these individuals a systematic and specific approach to their development, practice does not always make perfect, but perfect practice does make perfect!!!
At BETA we offer training in every area; mentally, emotionally, physically and academically, to give our players the HEAD, HEART AND LEGS! We expect nothing less than 100% effort and full dedication from our players and our coaches.
With the discipline, the work ethic and strong principles gained through our training programmes each individual will gain ‘the courage and commitment to prevail’ on the tennis court and in all walks of life.

Come and join us celebrate 10 years of the Berkhamsted Elite Tennis Academy (BETA). In 2008, BETA first launched with just 4 players. Ten years later the academy has over 40 players and has seen some incredible success. Our 10 year Anniversary party will take place on Sunday the 25th of March from 2pm onwards. Join us for on-court games/events, drinks, BBQ (£5 per person - starts at 4pm), celebrations and a bit of team-rivalry! Entry is free.

Last Saturday evening, we hosted the BETA Tennis Awards for 2018. The evening was a huge success and we would like to congratulate the winners of our 5 awards: Best First year Effort Giver - Ryan Teasdale Players Player of Year - Jojo Playfoot MVP - Joel Pierleoni Most Improved - Justin Tracy Best Overall Effort Giver - Reece Farrow The BETA Spirit Award is awarded to the player who has exhibited the core values of the academy day in day out – a growth mindset, 100% effort while displaying a positive attitude, courtesy and respect for all people around them; players, coaches and parents, both on and off the court. This year the award went to Josh Hayes A big thanks to everyone who helped out with the running of the evening and congratulations again to all our winners. We look forward to a bigger and even more successful 2018!
