Derbyshire based photographer. Lover of tea, cake, handwritten letters and red lipstick.  Hello! *waves*
My name's Becky, which you probably already knew, and I'm an alternative wedding photographer currently living in a small town in Derbyshire called Belper with my boyfriend and our two little bunnies, Daisy and Buttercup.  I am originally from Liverpool, and still have a base in the North West, so I am more than happy to cover weddings in that area.
I am not a formal photographer, and specialise in shooting weddings for couples that want to do things that little bit differently. Being a fan of vintage imagery myself, I create photographs with that air of old fashioned romance to them. I see the beauty in and enjoy capturing the little things, moments in time that need to be saved, emotions shown on faces and smiles shared. It's looking back through shots such as these that really put you back in that time and place to me and convey personalities, not the images created when you're made aware of the photographers presence. I'm a naturally introverted person so a documentary style of photography is right up my street. As a result my style of photography is informal, unobtrusive, fun, romantic natural, and creative, and with a limited amount of set shots/posed group images.

Recent Testimonials

Becky travelled all the way down to deepest Sussex to do our engagement shoot. She proved to be great fun whist attentive and incorporated all our wacky ideas. I'm not one for posing for photos, so her laid back "pretend I'm not here" approach really worked for us. I'm so glad we got to do this shoot prior to the wedding as we had ample opportunity to get to know her, how she works so it should prove to be a stress free wedding day. I'd highly recommend Becky for any type of shoot. She was a pleasure to be around and not only did we find a great photographer, but a friend too.

We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the photos. They look fantastic and just what we were after.  Thank you for putting us so at ease at our engagement shoot, and we look forward to seeing you on our wedding day!

- Tim Knowles and Kate Fowler, Birmingham

After seeing other wedding shoots Becky had done, we were so excited to have her as our wedding photographer. She was very attentive and professional, yet also really friendly. She helped the whole day run really smoothly and the end result was beautiful photographs we'll treasure forever. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and I'd recommend her to anyone.

- Catherine and Daniel Thomas, Preston

We had a  shoot with Becky in February 2013 and could not have been more delighted with the results. Not only was Becky full of wonderful ideas for our shoot, but she also helped us develop our own ideas to make sure we got eveything we wanted from it and more. Becky made us feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, and we would not hesitate to recommend her photography.

Travelled back to early '60s Paris this afternoon to shoot this stunning filmstar... Okay so it was a park in Nottingham to take some portraits for Kathryn, to mark her being beautifully glammed up for her birthday party this evening, but I'm pretty sure she could pass for a star of the silver screen.
