The launch of the first Belfast Bootcamp brought a special buzz to the Oh Yeah Music Centre & Music Potential Belfast. Attendees arrived early, keen to get started and signed up straight away. With a local DJ on the decks, our Belfast team got straight to work Capital XTRA's Music Potential. Participants got to choose three taster sessions out of the following: Radio production with a commercial radio producer Mairead Campbell (Radio 1) Songwriting and performance with The Voice star Leah McFall, musician Callum Stewart, and Ivor Novella winner Iain Archer Live events and festival management with AVA Festival Music production with Belfast Music Production Academy Studio production with acclaimed producer Rocky O'Reilly Once everyone completed their chosen taster sessions, the day concluded with a star-studded Q&A panel with Rocky, Leah, Iain, Callum and one of the bookers of Northern Ireland’s biggest festival, Belsonic Joe Dougan.
