During the summer holiday, former pupil Holly Dunford represented GB in the world junior rowing championship. This is already a great achievement, but Holly went on to win her event (the women's double skulls), narrowly bearing the Germans in the final. Well done, Holly.

St Anne’s 2017 Junior Sports Morning The sports morning was a great success and the weather was just as we ordered. St Anne’s house being the overall victors but that should not detract from the efforts and achievements of all the participants. A BIG thank you to all the athletes, supporters and Mrs Byrne as well as the school staff, PTA and parents.

Sayers Croft update Oh, how time flies when one is having fun! Yes, it’s the last day and the children are so disappointed that they will be heading home after lunch today, they would have loved to remain a few more days. Last night they had already started taking about and asking question regarding the year 6 JCA residential for 2018. I think the photos speak for themselves.

Our athletics squad have been in action this afternoon in the rearranged District Sports. Unfortunately only three schools were able to compete and we finished third, mainly because our Year 5 children were all unavailable due to the Sayers Croft trip. Nevertheless everyine tried hard and there were some impressive individual performances.
