Huge well done to our S3 pupil Sunny Mcgrath who continues to achieve great things in his running. Sunny competed in the last race in the North district Cross Country Championships (held in Forres) and came in 1st place! He also competed in the Scottish Athletics Cross Country Championships in Falkirk, in the u15 boys category where he finished in 3rd place. This has meant he is now ranked 3rd in Scotland for the under 15 boys category. Amazing achievement. Keep up the good work Sunny.

S3-6 Pathways Evening At Banff Academy we recognise the importance of involving parents/carers in their child’s education. In order to provide the most up-to-date information for parents/carers who are currently supporting their young people to plan their next steps post S4, an information evening for parents of S3-6 pupils has been arranged for Wednesday 15th March, 2017 in Banff Academy Assembly Hall from 7-9 pm.

Find a lost National Insurance number - GOV.UK

16 and 17 year olds can vote in the 2017 Scottish council elections. This means that if you’re 16 or over on 4 May 2017, you’ll be able to vote – but you need to register first. It only takes a few minutes to register online. We will be helping 16 and 17 year olds get #ReadyToVote by running registration opportunities every Tuesday and Thursday during March. Pupils should go to room C210 from 1pm on any of these days to register to vote. This is your opportunity to join the 80,000 16 and 17 year olds who registered to vote in the last election. If you’re 16 or over you’ll need your date of birth and National Insurance number to register to vote. If you can’t find your national insurance number, visit: gov.uk/lost-national-insurance-number. (If you’re not yet 16 you won’t need your National Insurance number to register).
