Description
The practice was established in its present form by Herbie McAleer in 1996. His experience spans over 35 years in all types and scales of project. He has been a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists for 32 years, the qualifying body in Architectural Technology.
Paul McAleer joined the practice full time in June 2012 after completing his RIBA Part 2 Architectural education at Queen’s University, Belfast. He has been associated with the practice during his time at University allowing him to gain valuable experience over the past 8 years.

After a busy couple of weeks that is us finished for the holidays - we hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
An example of the 'don't move, improve' philosophy - a recent sketch proposal we prepared in relation to the extension of an existing bungalow in Armagh - the client wished to improve and increase the quality of the main living/kitchen/dining areas. As the rear garden of this dwelling is directly south facing we were able to maximise the level of glazing taking advantage of both the sun and view it enjoys. If you are thinking doing something similar to your own home please do not hesitate to contact us!
A few images of an A-frame window arrangement in a contemporary house we designed last year which is currently on site - we are definitely looking forward to seeing this one finished!
Some further visuals of the previously posted house at Cultra showing the garden and patio areas - this new dwelling enjoys a spectacular view out to sea with the large expanse of glazing on this elevation designed to reflect this.
It's been a while since our last post so I thought I would share this early visual in relation to a replacement contemporary dwelling we are involved with in Cultra - this view showing the courtyard area to the rear of the property.
