The autumn leaves of yellow and gold form a beautiful tunnel on the road to Avoch!

Guests staying during August 2017 have sent me two of their favourite fotos taken while on holiday. One a view from the front door window, the other a glimpse of local residents in the back garden! Thank you Saviour for these images!

Rain and sun create these beautiful rainbows looking out from our front garden. Later on the evening sun gives a back light to the cottage.

Work continued at the Cottage... Old fencing taken down to allow diggers and cement mixers in during excavation and base making, has been replaced by strong new gate and fence! Cabin/Summerhouse arrived in a kit form with the chaps from Fettes Sawmill who worked non stop from 9am till 4pm and what a lovely job they did!!! Next up... the painter will be in over the weekend!!!!! Fettes Sawmill Ltd

May has been like summer weather here in Avoch. The cottage has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Trip Advisor!!!! We are thrilled and hope to continue to offer excellent accommodation and a warm welcome to all future guests!

May 2017 we start work in the back garden! The main plan is to add a Summer House.... first step, Excavate the site!!! Amazing to see the mini digger come in and within 3 days a base has been created!!! Thanks to Douglas and helpers for your hard work and over coming obstacles with a cheerful outlook! Next week the summer house goes up plus some new fencing and silde gate... if all goes well!

Get away from it all in the Highlands of Scotland.
