Marlene Lamont, the proud salon owner and Top Educator in The Urban Academy where you can find an exciting array of courses to suit all your training needs.

Marlene won The British Hairdressing Championships in Wembley London 1999,and The Yorkshire Gold Medal in 2000 to name but a few and with over 34 years experience you will be in expert hands in the salon and in The Academy. Marlene also oversees The Urban Artistic Team who a have won an array of awards in artistic cutting ,colouring, gents, bridal work and fashion hair up all over the country.
Abbi Riddell won Scottish Stylist of the Year 2014 and Nicola Dow won Scottish Colourist of the Year 2015.The team were also Finalists in Bridal, Extensionist and Salon of The year 2015 This team have a lot of talent!. Offering a full variety of hair and beauty services for the entire family at affordable prices, this vibrant talented team have many specialties for you to choose from and are experts in unisex fashion and photographic work and weave extensions .
