I wish we could live in a world where every dog can run around and play with every other dog but unfortunatly we dont. As many of you know we dont usually have the most easy dogs in at the rescue, most have behavioural issues which we work hard to either resolve or at least make it managable. But when a volunteer takes a dog for a nice walk in the woods the last thing they want to encounter is an owner with thier mulitple dogs running over and for them after being told that he is not good with dogs to say they are fine and walk off! This does not help improve our dogs behaviour this does not help our poor volunteer who had to get in the way of a our big boy with no social understanding and multiple other dogs off lead aproaching him. People need to be more considerate about things its just not fair we are blessed to have such lovely areas to walk our dogs so close but if this keeps happening putting dogs and volunteers at risk what are we suppose to do?

Charlie 6.5 Year old Rottweiler Good with children 6+ Good with other dogs Could possibly live with cats Charlie is a laid back boy he does have slight seperation anxiety meaning he can be vocal when left. This normally only lasts a short while and is lessened if he has the company of another dog. Charlie does have some issues with his back legs meaning he can’t go for a long walks as other dogs and his exercise has to be limited or he can get quite stiff and sore he doesn’t require any medication at this time but may need pain relief at a later date. Despite this he loves to play and is good off the lead he is friendly with everyone and is very well behaved in the house.
